Baltic Towers

Baltic Towers was established in 2023 as a result of cooperation between the Polish Industrial Development Agency JSC (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A.) and the Spanish leader in the renewable energy sector, GRI Renewable Industries, S.L. In Gdańsk, on Ostrów Island, a modern offshore wind tower manufacturing plant was built—one of the largest investments of its kind in Europe—supporting the development of the offshore wind sector.

Opening new horizons: Polish vision of energy transition

Wind energy is the future and hope of future generations, as well as a long-term and secure investment. Offshore wind energy is currently one of the fastest-growing branches of the energy sector in Europe, especially in Poland. The Polish wind energy sector actively works towards transforming the energy landscape we live in. Our company, Baltic Towers, is driven by the need for change, modernization, and, above all, active participation in progress and development of Polish economy and local society. It is particularly important for us to collaborate with our esteemed Spanish partner to collectively share knowledge and expertise, creating a project that will transform the landscape of Polish energy. In Baltic Towers, we envision a future where we can take pride in contributing to the generation of clean energy and sharing it with the rest of the world.

The sea of opportunities: investment with potential

A facility with access to the quayside will enable the creation of a production hall dedicated to manufacturing towers for wind turbines with a capacity of 15 MW and above. The production hall, covering an area of 6.2 hectares, will be equipped with heavy lifting capabilities; it can produce sections weighing up to 500 tons, 50 meters in length, and 10 meters in diameter. The facility will have production capacity sufficient to manufacture over 150 towers annually. The investment will contribute to the creation of 500 new specialized job positions, which will have a significant impact on the local community. The factory is a crucial element in strengthening the Polish supply chain for offshore wind energy.
